Dr. Erickson was born and raised in Moorhead, Minnesota. He graduated with honors from North Dakota State University with a major in Microbiology. Dr Erickson then attended Veterinary School at Western University of Health Sciences. Following veterinary school, he completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at VCA California Veterinary Specialists. After completing his internship, Dr. Erickson practiced emergency medicine for 2 years prior to completing his residency in veterinary ophthalmology. In his free time, Dr. Erickson enjoys being at the ocean or lake enjoying mother nature. He also enjoys spending time with family, his cats named Alfie and Caspurr, and walking his rescue dog, Odin.
