Dr. Madison Dedman is a veterinary ophthalmology specialty intern at Veterinary Eye Clinic for 2026 - 2027. Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, she earned both her Master of Science in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University. She completed a rotating internship at BluePearl Specialty and Emergency Pet Hospital in Tampa, Florida, where she developed a strong interest in ophthalmology and advanced speciality eye care. Dr. Dedman enjoys all aspects of veterinary ophthalmology and has a particular appreciation for equine ophthalmology. Her professional interest include corneal diseases, microsurgery, and helping preserve vision and quality of life for animals of all ages and species. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, including her two miniature longhaired dachshunds, Wrigley and Lincoln, and her two cats, ElleBelle and Teddy. She also enjoys playing piano, following Thoroughbred racing and pedigrees, traveling, and cheering on Kentucky basketball.
